When heated, the grains naturally release a faint scent, reminiscent of warm cereal or grains. No fragrances are added to the blend. Certifications for the teddy bear:

Warning

Read the instructions carefully before using the product. These can be found in the leaflet included in the box with the therapeutic teddy bear or compress.

Furthermore, never allow a child under 3 years of age to use this product without adult supervision, due to the risk of choking. Choking could occur if the grain pouch or the cover becomes torn and the grains enter the baby’s mouth.

Design

Entirely crafted in the Béké-Bobo workshop in Saint-Amable, Quebec, this teddy bear carries the "Product of Quebec" certification. It reflects the expertise of a company that, for over 25 years, has been developing natural solutions to help soothe and comfort children.

Materials

Cover: Soft polyester, removable and washable.
Inner pouch: Exclusive blend of organic grains, with no added lavender or fragrance.

Use

Cold

Place in a sealable plastic bag to prevent it from absorbing odours from other foods, and put in the freezer for at least 2 hours. Remove from the bag and apply to the skin.

Hot

Microwave: Remove the grain-filled pouch from the cover. Heat in the microwave (1000 watts) for 30 seconds, then place the pouch back into the cover. Test the temperature of the teddy bear on an adult’s skin before placing it on a child’s skin to avoid the risk of burns. Do not overheat.

Oven: If you do not have a microwave, preheat your oven to 450°F (approx. 4 minutes). THEN, TURN OFF THE OVEN. Place the grain-filled pouch directly onto the oven rack and leave it for 4 minutes without turning the oven back on. Remove the teddy bear from the oven and place the pouch back into its cover.

Carefully check the temperature of the teddy bear on your own forearm BEFORE applying it to your child. These instructions can also be found inside the teddy bear’s box.

Care

To clean the compress, first remove the grain-filled pouch from the cover. Wash only the cover in the washing machine using cold water. The grain-filled pouch is not washable. The cover can safely be machine-washed and tumble-dried at a medium temperature.
If the teddy bear or the compress has absorbed an odour from the freezer, add a few drops of vanilla extract to a small glass of water, place the glass next to the grain-filled pouch in the microwave, and heat everything for 15 seconds. The odours should diminish.
